All you need to know in order to enroll in LUISS Summer School in Art & Cultural Heritage in Italy
The deadline for applying to the Summer School is May 15, 2017.
In order to apply, you have to:

Curriculum vitae and motivational letter
Proof of English proficiency (if English is not your first language): TOEFL or IELTS Score Report, Certificate from an English teacher
Wait for confirmation of admission. An email will be sent to the email address you provided in the application form. Timeline is further specified in the Admission and Payment Procedures.
- € 2.000,00 (VAT included) per week. Students who want to attend the entire edition (two weeks) will pay the discount price of € 3.500,00 (VAT included).
- A 10% earlybird fee discount will be granted to students finalizing their enrolment by march 15 2017 .
- Accomodations: double room € 350,00; single room € 490,00.
- Tuition Fees includes: entrance tickets to museums and art galleries included in the lecture program, transports from the University to museums/cities where lectures are held, materials and bibliography readings, and access to all LUISS Business School facilities.
- It is possible for each student to bring a guest. The guest option costs € 1.600,00 (VAT included) per week and includes: tickets and transport to every scheduled visit (museums, galleries, and cities).

ADMISSION AND PAYMENT PROCEDURESAdmission will be decided on the basis of both academic achievements and suitability to the program. If you are accepted in the course you applied for, you will receive an email with further payment instructions.
Check the table below for information concerning application date, admission confirmation and payment. Please remember to specify the name of the summer program selected in the reason for payment!
Full payment must be made by May 15, 2017.
If you apply after April 15, LUISS will work to confirm your admission as soon as possible.
Please wait for confirmation of the delivery of the program by the end of May before making any travel arrangements.

CANCELLATION POLICIESIf you cancel before May 15, 2017, 25% of the total fee will be refunded. If you cancel after May 15, 2017 no refund will be given.
LUISS reserves the right to cancel a course if such course fails to meet the minimum recruitment level. Confirmation of the delivery of the course will be communicated by the end of May. In the event that a course is cancelled, a full refund of the tuition fees will be made.Please keep this in mind when making travel arrangements; any expenses made other than fees will not be reimbursed.
PRACTICAL INFORMATIONPrior to arrival
It is your responsibility to check whether you need a visa and arrange for it. In case an invitation letter is required, LUISS Summer University will provide it.
You have to arrive the day before the starting of the program.
If you choose the option “accommodation included”, you will be hosted in one of the LUISS Residences, easily reachable from LUISS Campuses. Accommodation will be provided to you starting from the night before the commencement of the program.
Please keep in mind that LUISS Residences Check -in time is from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday 9th July.
Accommodation will be in a single or double room, with private bathroom (bed linen and bath linen are provided). LUISS Residences are equipped with a full furnished kitchen to be shared with other students, internet access Wi-Fi, cleaning service twice a week, self-service laundry and doorman service.
You can choose a double or a single room and we will try to satisfy your request, however we cannot guarantee it.
Please note also that LUISS Residences have a limited number of beds. In the event that the number of participants to the course exceeds the number of beds available in the LUISS Residences, the fee including accommodation will be re-calculated with the provision of a different accommodation.
If you selecte the option “without accommodation”, LUISS can provide you with information concerning hotels with preferential rates. In that case, payment must be made directly and personally to the hotel you choose.
You will be personally responsible for purchasing a medical insurance for the whole time-period of your stay.
Attendance and exam
As you will note in the program agenda the Art and Cultural Heritage in Italy summer program schedules two written exams (one for each week).
Full attendance at lectures and company visits is compulsory, as they will provide you with the set of competencies you need to successfully pass the exams.
If you attend 90% of both lectures and company visits, and pass the exams, you will receive a certificate of achievement.
If you do not pass the exams, but have attended at least 80% of the lectures (and company visits), you will receive a certificate of attendance.
